Daddy Yanky Pochette
Pochette is an outstanding student-athlete and recent graduate of Academy Park High School. Known for his dedication, leadership, and selflessness, he consistently gives his time and energy to support others both on and off the field.
One example of his commitment to service was evident during the girls' soccer preseason this past year. Despite having his own demanding athletic schedule, Pochette volunteered every day to help coach and encourage the girls' soccer team, even during the hottest days of summer. After assisting with their practices, he would attend his football practice as the team's kicker, soccer practice, and long-distance track training. His willingness to serve others, combined with his positive attitude, humor, and compassion, has made a lasting impact on those around him.
When asked why he chose to invest so much time in supporting the girls' team, Pochette explained that while the boys' soccer team was already strong, he wanted to use his skills and experience to help strengthen the girls' program as well. His response reflects his character and desire to help others succeed.
Although he has graduated, Pochette continues to support the soccer programs at Academy Park High School. He is currently deciding between several excellent college opportunities, including admissions offers from West Chester University and Penn State University.
In his free time, Pochette enjoys working out and participating in a variety of sports and athletic activities. A fun fact about Pochette is that while he may appear lean, he is incredibly strong and powerful — a fitting reflection of both his athletic ability and his strength of character.
